Announcing my new, free e-mail magazine for writers!

I'm very excited to announce I'm launching a new, free e-zine (electronic magazine) for beginning and intermediate writers called Dianne E. Butts About Writing. I've been writing for publication since 1989 and I have learned so much. I frequently get questions from writers and often it's the same questions over and over: How do I get started? How do I submit my manuscript? Do I need an agent? How do I get my book published? How do I build a web site? What rights do I sell? How do I write a query letter? I've decided one way I can help other writers is to answer these questions and more through a monthly writing e-zine.

Each month I will address one topic. I'll include instruction and information and some writing resources that I recommend. I'll add some information for upcoming writers conferences and writing opportunities I'm aware of. I'll throw in tips and suggestions and a dose of encouragement whenever I can. All this and more can be delivered right to your e-mail box every month for free!

I promise I won't clutter your e-mail box with multiple e-mails. I'm planning ONE issue per month. Only if something comes along I think you'd want to know that can't wait for the next issue will I send you another e-mail. I promise I will never give or sell your e-mail address to a third party. And I promise not to take a lot of your time--my e-zine will be pretty brief. I promise to do my best to fill my e-zine with information you can use, resources that are worthwhile, and all the things you want to know about the writing business.

My first issue will premier in late May for June 2007. The topic will be author web sites. To get your free subscription, go to my web site at www.DianneEButts.com and you'll see the subscription form right there on my home page--on the right. Fill in your name and the e-mail address to which you want your magazine delivered and click "GO." Please note: almost immediately you will received an e-mail to confirm you signed up for the magazine. You must click the confirmation link to complete your subscription. This is for your protection--so no one else can sign you up for something you don't want. (I can't sign you up either--you have to do it yourself. Also, please know you can unsubscribe at any time.) After you click the confirmation link, you will be taken to the Bravenet web site. This is my host company for my e-zine, but you don't have to join Bravenet. (Just so you know, Bravenet is hosting my e-zine for free so they will put ads on my e-zine. I'll have no control over those ads. But if this e-zine proves successful, I'll move to a paid host company and then there won't be any advertising added on by the host company.)
