I regularly attend writer’s conferences for training, contacts, and encouragement, including the Colorado Christian Writers Conference in Estes Park, Colorado, which I have attended annually since 1989. I have been on faculty at this conference in 2006, 2009, and 2011.
I am a member of Toastmasters International and have earned my Competent Communicator certificate.
I have completed all seven one-year long college-level Bible study courses offered by Bible Study Fellowship International.
I am also a screenwriter. I attended Act One Program’s “Writing for Film and TV” two-week seminar in Hollywood, California, June/July 2010. My short script, "A Cowboy's Faith," inspired by a true story in
Deliver Me, was a finalist in the 168 Project's 2010 "Write of Passage" contest.When I’m not writing, I enjoy riding my motorcycle
with my husband, Hal, and gardening with my cat, P.C. Hal and I are
members of the Christian Motorcyclists Association which endeavors to
reach motorcycle enthusiasts for Christ. We live with our
cat in Pueblo, Colorado.
